Weekie - Heritage Hotel, Ipoh

"If you reveal your secrets to the wind,
you should not blame the wind for revealing them to the trees..." ~ Khalil Gibran
Hello readers,
I am really sorry for the lack of updates. Things have been busy at work, at home and I have been travelling.
Some long overdue updates are in order, but I will just update you on my weekie escapade to Ipoh the other day for my aunt's engagement.
I stayed at Heritage Hotel Ipoh.

The hotel is pretty classic, and has its own charm. It probably isn't for you if you like modern, sleek hotels. But if there is one thing I like about older hotels, is that the room and bathroom are always, always BIG.

So everything was super spacious. Great for kids to be running around. They have refurbished the rooms. But the outside look retained its old school charm anyway.

I also liked the fact that there were no carpets (not a fan of them) but hardwood floors instead, and it was super clean, because I could not see a single speck of dust on the floor.

One thing I did not like during my stay was that there were 2 consecutive blackouts at the hotel, but as I was told, it was TNB and so I couldn't really fault the hotel. Kudos to the reception for answering my queries nicely and calmly.

Breakfast buffet was nothing to shout about, just okay.

The location was great and a plus. Easy access to both the old and new Ipoh town.

Until next time.

Much love from Airiel and I.

Peace and love to everyone.
