Its been a while. Its the CNY holidays and Airiel is off with his dad for the weekend.
I have time to update.
The foodie in me was intrigued when I first saw the review of this place in
EatDrinkKL. It was also close to where I work so I decided to check the place out.
Meet the meat man, my man Danial. He used to work in a bank and realised that meat was his calling. God Bless you for this realisation Danial. His nickname growing up was Bruno, which eventually became the name of this place.
Sorry for the bad photography but I was hungry at the time. Bruno's specialty is Sous-vide steaks and burgers but he also has duck.
All of his burgers, steaks and duck are kept in this sous-vide machine until someone makes an order. Danial was proudly showing us all the steaks, he had rib-eye and sirloin on the day I made my trip. I chose a 280gram rib eye.
Danial then set about making the grill nice and hot for my order of steak just the way I like it..
Each order comes with a side of salad, caramelised onions, mash and mustard. When I hadfinished my steak and was chatting with Danial, he showed me his secret stash of homemade dried cili padi flakes. Didn't manage to eat with my steak but I tried a teeny bit. Be sure to ask for it when you're there to have with your meat if you can stand fiery flavours, it was the bomb!
And Danial sure knows how to cook my meat, just the way I like it. Rare to Medium Rare. Chomp chomp yummy yummy. And just like that, 280 grams of meat was gone...
The steaks are lightly seasoned with salt and pepper so that you can taste the true flavour of the meat.
The price tag was the biggest surprise. Prices differ on a daily basis, but for a 280gram-300gram steak, you wont may pay more than 30 bucks for it, guaranteed. Ini harga kasi mati people.
Since these pictures were taken, I have been there a couple more times, hehhe.
