How are my readers? It's been a while and tonnes of updates are overdue.

I'll start with my last weekie and the hotel we stayed in.

We stayed at this new hotel smack dab in the middle of Georgetown.

First up, the decor.

 High ceilings at the lobby, giving illusion of space

 I absolutely loved this piece of art on one of the walls in the lobby.

The same design was plastered throughout the hotel.

Now for the room. We just took the standard room. Newer hotels have less space, unlike the old ones, which I completely get. Plus space is such a premium in Penang. 

Nice double beds for my room. One of the best pillows I ever slept on. 

Flat screen tv is a must

 Minibar with the essentials, although fridge was bare

The bathroom was a decent size.

All in all there are some pros and cons to the hotel and my review on it is somewhere in booking.com and tripadvisor. 

Pros:-

1. Decent price for the rooms;

2. New hotel

3. Centrally located (can walk to all  the good places in town *nasi kandar line clear especially haha*

4. Comfy pillows

Cons: -

1. Wifi was intermittent;

2. Only 2 lifts for the entire hotel guests and one lift was not working at the time; and

3. The breakfast buffet was awful (please improve on this hotel).

As usual, all my bookings were made through booking.com.
