Beauty Products to Include in My Routine - Eye Cream

Hey readers,

How was your weekend?

I just turned 30 in October and sort off realised I needed to take care of myself more. I plan on including an eye cream in my daily regime from now on. Lambat kan? I know some of my friends memang dah pakai sejak teens lagi, but eye creams are just so expensive and I do not notice anything terrible under my eyes, its just mata selalu bengkak sekarang especially when I cry missing Akif.

Anyways, I have narrowed it down to a few brands, so lets see:-

1. This is of course tops the list. I am an avid SKII user since its the only brand that has suited my skin so far. I use SKII for my daily skincare.

SKII Skin Signature Eye Cream

The price tag is around RM3++ -RM4++ for 15grams so it is one of the pricier ones in the market.

2. Kiehl's Eye Creams

This one got me really confused sbb eye cream dia byk jenis gile. Price range in between RM1++ to around RM200 max.

3. Sulwhasoo Rejuvenating Eye Cream

I am kind of partial against asian brands because I just think they would suit asian skin better, and Sulwhasoo is a rising star in Malaysia. Some of you my readers have highly recommended this product.

Just like SKII, Sulwhasoo's eye cream is not cheap. RM4++ for 25ml bottle. But cheaperlah compared to SKII whose price is just about the same for 15grams kan

4. Murad Eye Creams

I am not that familiar with the Murad range of products but there have been some good reviews on them. These costs around RM2++ for a 15ml bottle.

5. Chanel Sublimage Ultimate Regeneration Eye Cream

The name is a handful ehh? Well at RM7++ for a 15gram bottle, the price packs a wallop for your wallet as well. I am not sure about spending this much money for an eye cream.

6. Dior Eye Creams

Satin Revitalising Eye Cream - RM4++ for 15 ml

Hydra Life Youth Essential Hydrating Eye Cream - RM2++ for 15 ml
I am quite intrigued with the hydra life essential hydrating eye cream. There have been a lot of good reviews for this one.

7. Garnier Eye Products

One of my readers highly recommended Garnier and said that she has been a faithful user for years and have seen her eyebags literally disappear! And best of all, these eye products from Garnier costs between RM30-RM50 only! Awesome..

8. Skinfood Salmon Eye Cream

This was also recommended by a reader and I am seriously considering this. RM1++ sounds like a reasonable price tag and reviews have been stellar online.

Any more recommendations from my readers are deeply appreciated if you have used any of these products.

Have a good week ahead!

Missing Akif

"Dare I say I miss him? I do. I miss him. I still see him in my dreams. They are nightmares mostly, but nightmares tinged with love. Such is the strangeness of the human heart" - Yann Martel

There are good days, some days are bad. And there are those terrible days. Today is one of those terrible days I guess.

You just wake up and realise that something is missing, something you have lost no matter what you do.

I run around and try to keep myself busy so I can stop thinking about it. And yes, when I am busy I do not think, but I still FEEL it. I feel that void all the time. That knife which is permanently stuck in me, twisting and twisting around in my gut.

I see pictures of babies on facebook and that knife just goes in deeper and deeper until I can't breathe and my vision dims because of my tears...I blink them away. Does that make sense?

Driving and being stuck in a jam is the worst. A lot of free time ends up with an idle mind and then I start thinking. What else do we humans think about than about the things that we do not or cannot have?

I know Akif is in a better place, I know he misses me as much as I miss him. I know that.

I just wish I could hug him, cuddle him. I wish I could kiss him.. I wish I could scold him when he is naughty. I wish I could see him crawl, hear him say his first word, see his first steps. I would I could perpetually worry about him like I worry about his big brother Airiel...but some things are just not meant to be...

It is a daily struggle for me. A struggle I know all mothers who have lost a child go through.

Akif, you are not with Mama here but you are in Mama's heart, all the time...

Maybe tomorrow will be a better day...

Groupon Deal - Holistics Esthetics Solaris Dutamas

Hello Readers,

It's a Friday!!

Yesterday I went for a quick rest and relax at a spa in Solaris Dutamas, Holistics Esthetics in Solaris Dutamas. There was a groupon for RM 38 where you will get a 1 hour 45 mins hot stone and back massage. So I decided to give it a try.

The masseuse was a Malay and she had strong fingers. I love my massages strong and absolutely loved it. There was pain, but man...it was GOOD pain and I just told her to keep going. She touches and smoothes out the knots in your back, your shoulder blades, your neck.

You feel absolutely refreshed after the massage.

Awesome.

As usual, everytime I enjoy a massage, I end up buying their packages la kan. So I ended buying a mixture of 2 of their signature massages, the hot stone massage that I tried and their signature wax massage (where they melt specially made moisturizing wax and massage you with it).

Haiyaaa. Terjebak.

Anyways, they also have other branches in KL and one in Mont Kiara. Do give it a try.

The address and contact details of the Solaris Dutamas branch is as below:-

Books - Recent Haul

Hello readers,

Airiel's concert last Saturday went without a hitch. I managed to keep it all in but when Airiel started reciting his pantun, looking tall and grown up on the stage, I completely lost it and the waterworks started. Haishh, the perils of being a mom.

Anyways, on Sunday I went for a spa, mani pedi thing. Some me time to relax. The spa I bought an I love discounts coupon was in Amcorp mall. It was not the best experience I ever had spa wise but there was one thing good about going there, Book Xcess opened in Amcorp.

And well, look at the haul.

Drool....

Can't wait to read these.

Work awaits. Have a good rest of the week.

Love...

My most trusted online shop for shoes

"So he tasted the deep pain that is reserved only for the strong, just as he had tasted for a little while a deep happiness..." ~ F. Scott Fitzgerald

Hi readers,

Sorry for the lack of updates, I have been busy and frankly, nothing much to update.

Anyways, I just want to share with you my new fave place I am going to for my shoe fetish issues haha.

I usually never buy shoes online because :-

(i) Usually online shops carry shoes with kulit babi and not tell us muslim customers, so so annoyed when this happens;

(ii) Shoes do not usually last; and

(iii) They do NOT look like what it looks like in the pics!

But I found a place which is awesome even though its online. And its local!

Hello Christy Ng.

The shoes are sky high (my kinda shoes) and are uber comfortable. I recently bought one on sale for RM180!!

Service is super fast and I got my package the very next day after my order.

Aren't these soo pretty!!!

Ok now, have a good weekend!!
